Hello, my name is Pauline Jones. I hope you enjoy looking at my galleries.
Right now, most of my work consists of soft pastel paintings, mainly because I
really enjoy working with pastels. I have a ton of new paintings buzzing around
my head and I can't wait to get started on them!
I'm self taught and I first started to paint with water colour and acrylics. But a
couple of years ago a very good friend, and pastel painter, suggested that soft
pastels would suit my style of very detailed work, so I had a go and got addicted!
I'll always be very grateful to my friend, Molly, she also gave me lots of great tips
on how to work with pastels.
Besides other subjects, I love to paint wildlife and animals of all shapes and sizes,
they are my number one subject. I also enjoy drawing, I've been drawing for as
long as I can remember. I hope to get a few new drawings together soon.
